Definitions of Site Map

  • A structured page or group of pages which provides a list of internal links to user accessible pages on a website. It is provided to help in the site's usability by clarifying the structure of the site for its users. An XML version is often kept in the root directory of the site and can be used to submit to search engines to help their spiders find and index the website's pages.
