I agree that the best way to get to them is through the article directories. I have always used Google searches of phrases for detecting plagiarism, but Copyscape looks very good.

I kinda came late to this post, but I think the idea is a) decide what you want and b) to go get it. With me. there is a principle involved and that is, you don't copy my stuff. So I would write them at least. If you are not being harmed, you gotta decide how much time to spend on it though. Best Eric
