I wouldn't go as far as a thousand times. Thats crazy. If we all did that we would all be trying to compete with an Ebay. I would focus on any searches that are in my niche. A term that gets 10 searches a month is still worth it.

All those programs are usually scams or become worthless. Especially if the place you are submittting changes one thing to their site. Then all you have is a worthless program that bounces article submissions off a site. It only takes a couple minutes to submit an article.

Honestly, if you want any advice about writing interesting content, it would be to write something useful for people while using good search Targeted phrases. Dont write purely for SEO sake. Get readers interested especially if you want them to stay on your site and even comeback.

I share the same sentiments with kelsheikh with regard to article submission software. They don't do any good to any webmasters. Article directories, especially those that are of good standing and reputation, don't like these software. Most of the time, they reject submission if you course your articles through these software.

Besides, it won't take much of your time to submit articles manually. Also, you don't need to submit your articles to all directories that you know. You only need a handful of them, directories that many people think are not "spam" such as ezinearticles and goarticles, to name a few. If your articles come from these sites, many webmasters won't hesitate to pick up your articles to post on their own sites.

I think kelsheikh hit the nail on the head. Start with a keyword group that is relevant to your site and that you can rank well with and write articles that people want to read.
