With the mortgage industry to the way it is it has been difficult to get a new development financed from local banks in my area. Does anyone know of a good source for development loans?

Thanks

Banks are usually involved in the Investment of the Subdivisions thus the reason you see their "Financed By ABC Bank" signs.

If you are having trouble getting the bank interested, it is unrelated to the Mortgage Mess. It is either your Presentation, Business Plan or they simply do not believe this is the right time for what you want to do. What are they telling you. If you or your builder are not in a position to finance it, seek private investors or Sell the project to a Major developer.

If the deal makes sense go to a company called Arlington Richfield. They are based in Michigan and they do stuff like this all day long.
