Default sitemap.xml

When looking at my Brettsellshouses.com/sitemap.xml it shows all of my old states pages and link exchange pages that were deleted last May or June. Do I have access to this sitemap so that it can be updated?

I'm not sure how this differs from a google sitemap but I'm still experiencing a penalty in G for some terms, can an old sitemap be a problem?

You rank #1 in Google for Pierce county real estate, you most certainly are not experiencing any kind of penalty. Did you delete those pages? If so, they should not be showing up, but if they still are, we most certainly can update your sitemap manually for you.

Hey Morgan, I rank #1 or first page for many keywords, but the two terms I'm really hunting for I'm currently ranked on the 20th page.

Yes please update the sitemap, and have Craig give me a call.

For future reference, do I need have this sitemap updated as I add more pages to the website?

Yes - you should have the sitemap updated as more pages are added. We can install the sitemap generator that you can just push a button to make a new one from the CMS. It's only a 15 min project to upgrade that.

Thank you,

Hey Aaron, I think I'll just upgrade to the new CMS. Does the new one offer this sitemap button?

Yes, the CMS 2.0 has the sitemap option and I have added you to the waiting list for the upgrade.

Hello,

Just wanted to also make sure you are aware the upgrade time is billable. There is more information on the Installation here http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/...rey/4260/show/
One thing to note is that all the manually entered listings will need to be re-entered in to the CMS.

For your site the quote is 4hrs ( @50% our normal rate) ... Please approve and I'll have you added to the list.
