Default FSBO site

I got a call today from someone wishing to sell me FSBO leads in my area. These leads are generated by their website. I politely turned down the offer. I can go visit the FSBO site, look at the address and pull up the information in our MLS if I am so inclined.

But it had me thinking why do that much work and why pay for these leads. Why not have your very own FSBO site? But I have no idea how involved this project would be? How the listings would be managed? How the backend of the site would function and what CMS would be used?

I guess I could spring for a REW site and use the listings manager, have programming come up with a page where a use can list their own property without any involvement from me.

Has anyone tried this? Has anyone thought of doing this? If this isn't too big of an expense, and isn't too involved to maintain the site, would anyone be interested in a joint venture?

It would be incredibly easy to create a FSBO site...you could even do it with open source software like Drupal. I don't have enough programming knowledge to actually do it myself...but my biggest concern wouldn't be the development of the site, it would be the liability.

What liability would you be concerned of as long as you put the standard disclaimers?

I would be interested in a joint venture here as long as it wasn't to costly to coordinate. Please let me know what you have found out about the costs of implementing something like this.
