Default Google PPC Advertising

Does anyone use Google for PPC advertising?

I love google adwords...get 5-7 leads a day.

20-25% conversion rate at a cost of around $3 to $4 per lead.

Anyone like to share their experience with Google PPC?

Tiff

I do about the same with free traffic. The problem with ppc for me is I have to pay $3-5 a click in my area for the good keywords. I dont even want to tell you what thats worth a lead. $3-4 a lead is pretty cheap. How many does it take to get a close.

I am new to the forum and new to all SEO and anxious to learn alot. 5-7 leads a day sounds good to me. Can you explain the cost to me. I guess that leads don't always result in a close has to be accounted for.

Well PPC is not really SEO. Seo takes lots of your time. PCC can be up and running in minutes. You should look around and read some stuff.

the thing with ppc is you want your ads to be original and copying someone elses ad might cost you more in the long run if your site isn't properly optimized.

Optimization is a bit of a misnomer in this case. More accurately, the landing page must be well synchronized with the ad text and with the keywords, or the PPC costs will be higher due to low AdWords Quality Score. See the PPC forum threads here for more.

This thread should actually be moved to that location, if any of the moderators are watching.

ppc can be a very expensive investment with little reward if not used correctly and optimized to fit your strategy and budget. If you have a good website, landing page, and ppc campaign focused around niche then you will have great success. ppc is also good channel to fill in gaps on marketing campaigns. In larger markets, you can have high click through rate with little or no return in my experience. good to build organic search while implementing ppc strategy.
