I bought an agent image site last year, before I knew better. They had done a beautiful site for our office, and I wanted one for myself. Well, many months later my 1 month old wordpress blog outranks by expensive website.

I guess I have two questions-

How hard will it be to dethrone the local office that dominates the local search traffic (Astoria, OR..... homes, real estate, ect.)? Their site isn't much.

Is there hope of resurrecting my AI site, by adding some tweaks and content or should I start again?

Actually agent image sites are completely rankable, you still have to put in all the hard work, and onpage SEO effort required (Unique titles, meta data, content) as well as creating a diverse linking porfolio etc.

I am not sure if you have to pay Agent Image to make these changes, or whether you can do the work yourself, but it certainly IS possible. Cost effective is another story.

Keep in mind that it never hurts to have more than one site. So you could certainly keep both, and you could even start a third if you have time.
