Question For REW Staff
What would you say is the best program to use to write php and html. I use dreamweaver, and I was just wondering what other programs are out there.

I'm not by any means a coder/programmer... but I like dreamweaver because it's easy

 Well I do sometimes, usually the more complicated stuff I leave to DW.

Our developers are all over the board, but honestly for PHP I like ZEND, for html / CSS etc if you need a GUI then DW is the way to go.

I like frontpage which is in microsoft office, it seems to work great. But let me ask you this, why do we need any of these programs, if we can just write in the backend and it just converts it for us in the CMS, doesn't it?

You wouldn't need these for updating an REW site, I think he is asking for his own projects / interests.

I use DW for the medium and big changes. If I am changing a link or correcting spelling, sometimes I use Notepad.
