Im Rocky from Colorado, and yes like some who defend TREA I HAVE worked for that company.

So what are we suppose to think when you post 'I know a lot about this company and its owner Jeff Guthrie.'?
Think of it how you want, I made a blanket statement about knowing the company and its owner. Nothing more.

Again, nothing more than a blanket statement.

Personally I don't give a hoot about TREA, but there may be someone here that does.
I agree that there are some that MAY want to know more. Yes, I can share what I know about the company and its owner.

So instead of beating around the bush, why not just spill it? You keep hinting at things, and not posting anything of substance - if you want to speak about TREA then do so, if not, then don't participate in this thread, as that is what this thread is about.

Dont waste your money, if you do want to join a lead generation company, research all of them, Number 1 expert is probably the least expensive that I have found. TREA hooks you with promises then brings out the added prices, PPC, SEO, this "myspace" platform that no one has seen, (yes I have been to the website, my grandmother could build a better site). And if you invest in the company, be ready for a recind on the units (stock) you were promised. But if you do decide to join TREA, keep in mind the CEO is a drug addict, and he will tell you he does have problems with perscription drugs.

A drug addict how unprofessional! I am sorry I asked you to speak up, that sort of libelous statement (Whether the rest is true or not) is most certainly not welcome here.

Welcome or not, it is true. The owner will tell you the same thing, he does have a problem.

Rocky,

How does TREA track their leads to be sure they're paid the 20% referral fee? Or do they not really care about that and just want the up-front charge?

TREA has a back end system, the realtor has to put information about the client and closing. TREA leaves it up to the realtor to be honest and put the information into the system.

Smile Re: Anyone heard of The Real Estate Advocate?

I have been involved with TREA for about 8 mos. and I have found them to be very professional and very responsive to my needs. Not only have I received many good leads I have never felt any of the negative feelings that I have read on this blog. Jeff has always be upfront and honest with me and I truly believe that this is a great program and it will be a temendous resource for the real estate community. Jeff the owner and CEO has returned my calls and talked with at length about this company and I feel his is honest and is doing his best to provide a reputable business that will help us all. It does take money and it does take time. I am sure there were a lot of people sceptical about the google when they were starting up as well and I am sure they are wishing they had jumped on that boat now.

Good Day,

I just found this site while researching The Real Estate Advocate, aka REexpert.

If you listen to their pitch and are ready to sign on they will ask for your money and to sign a 'Strategic Alliance Agreement'

In the first paragraph of that agreement,

Part (iii) Termination of this agreement without cause by either party hereto, upon thirty (30) day notice to be provided in writing in advance to the other party (such termination may be made at any time and for any reason).

They will not put anything that they say that they will do in the contract and reserve the right to cancel with 30-day notice. No refund of your $4,000.

I've asked repeatedly to talk to an actual agent who has seen a profit from the program. As sophisticated as there supposed internet wisdom is they can't seem to connect me with anyone within 1000 miles of me.

They have a great sounding pitch. I just wish they would use that same energy to provide evidence of performance and a fair contract that protects both parties.

It's a good life!

Once you do agree to sign on they will ask for a credit card number, "to lock in your area". Promises not to charge your credit card until you have a signed agreement will be made, but, 20 minutes after you give your credit card number your account WILL be charged. When you call to complain they will tell you "giving us your credit card number is an agreement to charge your account".
