Social networking can be very time consuming. I used to try and do all the biggies, but that had to stop. Now I just do a couple but I try and be really active. I do not think I get a lot of traffic to my site, but I have gotten some clients.

Well TLP, sounds like you have gotten what you want as a direct result of dedicating some time to Social Networking. Like anything, it takes time and dedication...it will pay off in the end, you just have to wait for it (fill the pipeline)

If you are interested in getting involved in Social Networks go for it, but like anything else it will take time to build a network. Don't always be thinking about business when networking via SN. Build a presence and brand yourself but don't always go for the kill. Realtors often use social media for the wrong reasons. Dont use SN to find next deal, use it to brand yourself and educate people that you are an expert.
