I would highly recommend any SEO or sitemap plugins that you can find. The wordpress site has an area that allow you to search for additional plugins. Upload the plugins and you'll be able to use them.

All-in-one Seo is a plugin. I have been using it. Only one I tried so not sure how the others work but it seems good so far. There also is a "nofollow" one that allows you to turn on/off nofollow attributes.

I can understand that. I am becoming a bigger fan of wordpress everytime I use it. Just had Google index a blog post on my new site in under an hour.
