I definitely agree about the expanding userbase. It does seem as if everyone has a MySpace profile whether young or old. Using MySpace also gives people the feeling of being connected to you. If you are in their friends can only be too your advantage the more people that see your name/logo.

I have uploaded videos into myspace that has generated some traffic. But no solid leads. I think most serious buyers or sellers are not going to use this route. The only luck you would have is if one of your friends are reminded that you are a agent.

That's yet another problem with these types of sites, perhaps the biggest, that the leads are mostly low quality and are a complete waste of time. I think MySpace is the worst route of all of them to take too because it's been so overtaken with advertisements and low-brow stuff that it actually could hurt the credibility of your business.

I use myspace to remind my friends and associates that I'm their Realtor. Just by them seeing my page every time they log on. Eventually when they do need to buy or sell, they'll probably call me. Every once in a while I'll post a Just Listed blog or statistics to keep them current on the market.
