I notice some meta descriptions have up to 170 characters and am trying to figure out how much of that is necessarily redundant. My feeling from seeing searches, that is an area you also want to support the premise of the sites content so the SE finds support of what your title tags say. When you look at the searches that come up for a term, look at what is highlighted in the title and the meta description.

The Keywords that are left are valued higher by google, the further right the less intrest google takes.

I've noticed better rankings since changing my title to 3 keyword phrases.

I noticed that keywords phrases in the title seem to help with page rankings but has anyone ever looked in to how it affects your click thru's? Just something I was thinking or curious about since I know title makes a big difference with AdWords.

What was your title before? How do you separate the keyword phrases?

From what I can tell almost anything but a period. So you can use the ( bar) | and you can use the colon: and the semi-colon; . I find I search and look more closely at what comes up on a search for certain kw's and see what is in the title.

Some people will come up with some stuff but be above you because of other SEO factors such as linking strength and page text. So while your title tag is nearer the match, I have been lower on the page when they had 2 of the terms. What ever you do will take 30 days or so the be crawled so don't expect an overnight miracle, but I think you will find some promise with your changes. Often times it is "city" real estate and "city" mls will be the most common KW's used for searching.
