Default Avg. Sales Per Agent In 2007?

I've been searching all over the web and I think I'm going nuts! - Does anyone know a reliable source for finding out this data? ...
I'd love to know how much in sales the average U.S. real estate agent did in 2007 . I'm looking for the avg. agent's sales totals - not the average agent's commissions - ie. If I only sold one house in 2007, for $500k, then I made $500k in sales in 2007...Thanks!

Not to burst your bubble, but unless published in a "high ranking" paper, that info is usually a closely guarded secret within realtor groups.

That number would also vary from market to market. Example would be California markets are more expensive than Texas markets.

Of what value would either number be to anyone? If you want to know an average though, simply look at the Average (and what version of average are you using) Cost of a house in the USA. IE: Median Home Price is...and factor in the number of Licensed Agents. The result will be as valuable as what you are probably thinking right now, Zilch.

Real Estate is a local game. You can not build a business model on this number because it is totally irrelevant. If I try to build a business model on this and apply it to Souther Vermont and then try to apply it to Manhattan it would be so skewed it would be worthless. See, in order to sell 1mil. in inventory in Southern Vermont, I will be Super Agent as many homes are selling for under six figures. In Manhattan, I am having a really off year because many apartments and buildings sell for 10 times that.

Now if you want to explain what it is you are trying to figure out, there might be much better means and searches you can conduct.
