In regards to the name, remember that the internet is international. So a name that isn't optimized for the English language, but is passable -- May be of more value. The name got us talking about it, didn't it?

how can they have so many pages indexed, but skipped over me? they are bums imo. they can't compete with google now and don't think they ever will until they index me.

I think this site has promise but don't think they will ever be able to compete with Google. Also I am not to sure about the name choice Cuil.com since Culi means a** in Italian and Culi.com is a huge porn site.

Tried it a few times, really not impressed at all. It will not take down google.

Wow I did well for the terms I do the poorest on google. I would have to say that in this case my site is more relative than what google says my site is. I think google places too much importance on links so people see conatent secondary. The search engine makes sense to me
