Default Help with CMS groups

If as an administrator I add someone to a group, and then assign that lead to an agent, why is it that the group dissappears?

EX)

ON the admin side: I assign Joe Schmoe to my IDX e-mail group which puts them on an automatic campaign.

When I assign that lead to an agent, the group doesn't show up in their details list.

I've checked it by logging in as the agent and sure enough, the group field is empty

Please advise...

OK, it looks like the admin groups are not global. Is it an easy fix to make the administrators groups assignable to the agents?

Thanks,

Terry

It's not a fix, that would mean changing the behavior of our lead management system and would require a work order. The reason it is like this is because usually groups are assigned by the agent, not the super admin, the only reason they are even in super admin is because sometimes that is the only user, so if that is the case, they need to be able to also act like agents.

Just so I hear you correctly...

If I add someone to a drip e-mail on the admin side, and then switch the lead to another agent, we lose that drip e-mail correct? And it would have to be set up on the agent side?

Thnx,

Is this solution possible for a reasonable fee?

I have a team of agents. I want to globally assign drip e-mail campaigns and documents to them as agents. Actually, anything I do on the administrator side I would like the flexibility to send over to the agents.

It protects my intellectual property if the agent ever decides to leave.

Thnx.

Terry

Anything is possible, however you would have to spec out exactly what you wanted to do (the more details the better) and then post in the work orders forum or contact your rep for an estimate. I cannot / will not provide estimates here as it is not the appropriate forum, you have not provided enough details and I am not your rep
Sorry.

Hello Terry

I just want to clear up a few things.

When a lead is in a group owned by the super admin, and that lead is reassigned, they do not lose the connection to that group. The agent cannot see that group but it is still there. If the super admin looks at the edit page for that lead they will still see a check box for their groups and any the lead is in will be check. Its just that only the super admin can see their own groups.

Since campaigns are based on groups, The super admin can in theory add people to a group, assign them to agents, then put that group on a campaign and all those leads will get that campaign email (regardless of who they are assigned to).
