I am having a problem with saved searches, or maybe I just don't completely understand how they work.
First I had my own account set up like a visitor to the site so I could click on listings and see the details pages from the front end... I found that when I was in the back end and went to the saved searches page for a lead - I would find no saved search set up. So.... I tried to create one for the lead so they would get an email sent to them when new listings came on the market matching what they were searching for. I clicked on the create saved search for this lead and created the search BUT it did not save the search under the leads account - it saved it under my own account. So I deleted my own account as I could not figure out how to sign out of that account from the front end - if that makes sense. Then I went back into the back end to create a saved search for other leads figuring it could not save it under my own as I no longer had one. However the saved search still does not show up under the leads account after I create it by clicking on the create saved search for this lead button and going through the process.... I am not sure where it saves now. So what do I have to do to create saved searched for my leads which will show up under their accounts and send them email alerts as new listings come on the market? Thank you |

I just tried it, and it looks like your Create Saved Searches script is not working correctly. I'll put it in the support tracker and we'll let you know when it's fixed.

It still does not seem to be working.
I went to the backend and clicked on create a search for this lead. Went through the process for the latest lead and clicked on save the search. Then when i check the saved searches for that lead - the search I just did is not there. |

I'll take another look, Bruce.

Hi Bruce,
I think the problem may have been that you didn't give the search a name. And I can see why. The field for inputting the name looks very strange. I'm having a designer look at it. But, meanwhile, you can actually create the saved searches. You just need to put a name in that big white box that is behind the Save Search for User/Lead button. We'll get it looking better shortly. :-) |

The Search Name field is fixed now so it doesn't look so strange. Can you try it out and let me know if it all works as expected?
Thanks, Vera |

Thanks Vera - I just tried it out again and it seems to be working now. I see what you mean with that box now.
