I have a couple questions regarding our IDX search for www.Buyermax.com:

1) when we were first set up; when out site was being created - we had asked that the email address realestate@buyermax.com be used for the IDX correspondence. It looks like although it was used for the initial auto responder that tells us someone registered on the site, but once they start receiving emails with the search results, they look like they come from keith@buyermax.com. We would like to get this switched to realestate@buyermax.com

2) It looks like people are updated WHENEVER a new listing goes online that matches their search parameters....We would like to change this to only email them 1x per 24hr period with ALL changes in that time. Some people are getting 3-4 emails from us daily and that is just too much. It frustrates people.

3)I can't seem to find where we would change the subject line on the emails that go our to buyers who have signed up and are receiving listings from us. It seems to have a default subject, but this goes to junk mail quite often. We would like to switch it to read New Listings - I just can't seem to find how on the back end.

If you could help us with some of these things, I would appreciate it.

I've changed it so that the emails from the saved searches will come from realestate@buyermax.com

It is likely because they have saved multiple saved searches. Each saved search they have - if new listings match - they will get an email. The script that sends out the emails only runs once a day but if someone has 5 saved searches - there is the chance they will get 5 emails per day with the listings that match their search.


I have changed the subject for the saved search emails to: "New Listings"

Thank you for the changes although unfortunately, I think I overlooked mentioning one more thing that needed changed. Along with the email address...it should read that the emails come from Keith and Rachael instead of just Keith.

If we could make that change too, I would appreciate it. This was part of our original request when the site was getting set up.

The saved search emails will come from "Keith & Rachael"
or...
Do you mean the email that comes when someone registers on the site? If so they you can change the from name in the CMS. Go to the lead management tab - then Auto Responders. Select the "IDX Registration Form" auto responder and edit the From Name.
