Default iframe MLS - Rules and Regulation

Brief history on me. Right now I am a Realtor in Columbia, SC (MLS - CML), but I deal a lot with the neighboring MLS in Augusta, GA (MLS - GAAR). I have a few Augusta websites as well.

So... I had a few questions. Neither of the MLSs that I deal with allow agents (non-brokers) to have IDX on personal websites (2 IDX feeds per broker, has to be company site). So a lot of agents resort to iframing in their MLS' site.

Now, I am pretty sure I would have no problem framing in my own MLS, but what about Augusta's?

And if I can, what if any, disclaimers and disclosures should I add? Is there a standard disclosure line(s) I can copy somewhere?

Also, I am messing around on how to iframe (learn as you go kind of thing so please be kind) here Augusta MLS

I added a VERY generic disclaimer at the end, but you get the idea.. So am I allowed to keep this page and/or should I?

TIA, for any help/advice!

Are you a member of the Augusta board? [Its sounding like you are not.]

If you aren't, then its almost a certainty that you would not be allowed to do that - but a quick call to them should give you the clarification that you need.

I have to agree, I would call the Augusta board. I am sure they will be able to answer your question quickly.

Good point.. No I am not a member of the Augusta board. I just figured a public access site with proper disclaimers was OK, but I will call and check.

Any comments on how i iframed.. does it look right?

I would really be interested to see what the result is.

I thought that the DOJ ruling a year or so ago would have taken care of this.

iframe looks good, I use for some of my websites as well. I'm interested to learn if MLS board is ok with you framing public access as well. Please post outcome when available.
