Default New LEC2 - Feedback is welcome

First of all kudos to the REW team for getting this project to the finish line.

www.barkerhedges.com

My previous site was custom built in Coldfusion and the content and IDX files needed to be reverse engineered and the the pages redirected. I am happy to report that after 5 days my traffic has remained the same and we are getting great feedback from our clients! Thanks to Craig, Ying, Moriah, Brad, Steven, and a special thanks to Anthony( programming wizard ) for putting up with me and the site over the last 6 months. I might as well thank Morgan also for employing these geniuses!

Now on to the new site!!!

The major changes additions to the site are:

1. Home page - changing the slideshow to CTA images to assist with organizing the Minneapolis and St Paul neighborhoods and Twin Cities Suburbs.
The Twin Cities has over 300 neighborhoods and suburbs.

2. IDX - http://www.barkerhedges.com/idx/ additional "Search By:" Tabs added.

3. Feature Callout / Table Search IDX Snippets -
http://www.barkerhedges.com/apple-va...eal-estate.php

Our main focus was the transfer of the core pages and IDX. We are lacking a little on the extra design features and would welcome feedback on how this could improve.

Also, please take a look at the details pages -

http://www.barkerhedges.com/idx/prop...5/details.html

We would like the Showing Request and Inquiry Buttons to be more prominent. Any ideas on how we can improve?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Matt

that site looks sweet. I really like the colors and the drop down menus for the main navigation.

Are those an add on? I don't seem to have them on my site.

Interesting about your blog nav link at the top, it works like I would expect it to. Ours doesn't change hover colors and i was told it wasn't supposed. Did you have that customized? Looks much better that way.

When viewing several of your details pages from here:
/minneapolis-calhoun-isle-community.php

I get this error:
This RealBird Map-based Search service has expired

From here for example: /minneapolis-cedar-isles-dean.php and here
minneapolis-bryn-mawr.php

Just a suggestion but I would do more with this page: /communities.php

Perhaps using the callouts to keep the navigation similar?

Nice looking site.

Congratulations on the new site and best of luck.

Hi Jessie,

Thanks for the feedback! We did do some pretty intense color changes. I believe when you make the sub pages off one of the main nav pages it should automatically insert the link in the drop down(suckerfish). We did do a fair amount of customizing though so it may have been extra. You may want to try support.

Thanks for the heads up on the other items. We will work on getting the corrected/improved!

Matt

Thanks for the recognition, Matt!

If I were you, I would pay for a 15 min project just to have the headings in the "Property Description" area made bold ("Directions:", etc):

Same with under "Property Details".

(Jessie, you have the suckerfish, too - just add a sub page or "sub nav link" to any of the main pages linked to from the top-nav, and if they're not "hidden", they'll show up (I tested it).)
