Well what you are really looking for is a date based archive of blog posts.
Pages and Posts are different creatures. A Page would be something that is not date specific (like a Services page or an About Me page). A Post is date specific, (like I attended a conference and met a,b and c yesterday, and the next day you may have a blog post about a specific property you are listing). Most blogging platforms have date based archives (monthly) on them out of the box. This of course depends on the theme or template you use.
