Im all for Article Marketing, but its best to make sure the article stays put in the rankings by making sure it is not being influenced by bad links... Then only the time is well invested in writing that particular article. Im sure you have come across duplicated content ranking well on search engines at times. This is really because they managed their backlinks well. Not to be obsessed by backlinks but at least to be aware enough.
