I use a cool firefox add called informenter for doing repetitive jobs like directory submissions (and forum moderation )

I have set up a "profile" for each of the sites I submit to. The profile will have the standard things I am asked to enter such as sitename, url, description (I have a few versions), tags, my name, my email.

Then when I find a directory I want to submit to I check I'm not already there, start at the top of my list, submit and work my way down. I can usually get through the lot in a couple of minutes.
