You do realize the ROI for direct mail, right? If you hot 3% you are doing great. So out of 300 mailings, you will be lucky if you get 9 people to call you from it. You would be much better off just calling them or stopping over the house to introduce yourself.
Mailings should be reserved for your Sphere.

Before you think every 3 months or 6 months, it is always better to place more emphasis or whether or not the promotion is converting. Sometimes what you think you need in this case “more mailings” is not the elixir to more sales.
Amazingly, you can sometimes achieve more with less. By that...that I mean is that if you “test” and track your mail pieces, you can find that missing element that hits the promotion out of the ball park. But again…this requires diligent testing and tracking of each piece mailed. It has been proven that a slight change in a headline can dramatically improve conversions alone. |
