I agree with this thought but I cannot change what our lovely President has signed off on. Personally I cannot figure out how the long term ramifications won't outweigh the short term benefits.

At least lending is still tighter and people who shouldn't be qualifying to buy won't.

The lending program is the only good thing to come out of this for the long haul. There will be no usury rates, inflated sales prices, and of course, tighter qualifications.
