Arrow Require PHP scripts to display NWMLS mysql queries on website

I am creating a real estate site for a friend (for FREE, of course) and have most everything in place that is required, (dedicated server with mysql/php, account with NWMLS to acquire data file for all listings - approx. 10gb and website) but no PHP scripts to display the data on his site. I am familiar with PHP and MySQL but really can not invest the time to create all the required scripts. I am looking for any generic PHP scripts that will update the data nightly, via a FTP Zip file from his MLS company (NWMLS - Washington state) and import it into the mysql database. As well as a basic PHP script for displaying the listing queries/images/listing details/contact about listing/etc... I can modify the scripts to suit, if need be...
I can pay $$ for the scripts, but have very limited budget for this project!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You could check out OR. It's free and it has a lot of things on it. How many listings you have there? OR it's working quickly, but if you'll have many listings on it, it will start working slowly(it also depends on how many fields you have for every listing).

Hi DMike:

Do you have any idea on how many listings in OR is "too many"? Are we talking 1,000 listings? Or 50,000 listings?

Does anyone have a sense of how many listings OR can reasonably handle?

Well, it depends on how many fields you have for every listing and where do you host your site. Let's say you have a good host(dedicated server, good hosting plan, ...) and around 20 fields for every listing, than OR it's working quite quickly. It will also work with over 50 000 listings, but you should really look for a good host for you site. OR works quickly with over 20 000 listings.

I wasn't aware that NWMLS provided access to any of their listings (via FTP). Have they all of a sudden loosened the rules ?

Jim, there is more than one NWMLS in the united states. If you are referencing NWMLS in Washington state, they still only allow broker of record access to raw data feeds (I believe they have 2 per office) one that the broker can use for their own solution, and one that they can choose to distribute to their vendor of choice (I am not an expert in NWMLS of washington, nor a fan so if I am incorrect in my statements, please feel free to correct me)
