I received an e-mail today asking if I would like to join a call to receive referrals for 20%, no other fee involved. Is anyone using them and are they legit?

I have never heard of them but if you have no out of pocket expense then you don't have much to lose except a little time working the lead.

I get these e-mails all the time. You have to look into whether or not your brokerage can legally pay them a referral. I know that in Oregon we can only pay referral fees to licensed brokers.

They have you sign up and have you listen to a conf call. After about the first 5 minutes of the call I hung up. Blah, Blah, Blah.... Just a lot of hype is all I felt.

I have never heard of them. Dylan is right, make sure that they can legally receive referrals.

Personally, I just have a hard time supporting lead aggregating companies. I don't mind taking referrals from other agents, but not from these type of companies.

I specialize in the listing and sales of Bellingham condos and Fairhaven condos in Washington State.

I believe that the owner lives in NC....seems to me he had approached me over a year ago to do some web work and partner with him but I was not interested because I did not see it as a viable venture worth spending my time nor the time of the people being solicited.

The 20% is correct. The main part of their deal is you have to buy 20 template sites (actually they are just template landing pages) for your area at a cost of $3490. They tell you there is no other cost involved, but they don't even want to talk to you unless you buy the templates. Seems like they are in the template page selling business.
