Since most directories etc. only allow one link per site how do you SEO your secondary pages?

Good Question! I would think blogging about subjects relative to your secondary pages w/ 1 link going to the page would help. I started to do this, but have been to busy to keep it up.

Not every link you submit to a directory has to be your home page. I look at my site like 100 different sites all in one. Each page is it's own website. So mix it up, you wanna get links to each area real estate page. The only reason your homepage gets the most traffic is because you submit the domain to your homepage the most. If you concentrated on any of the interior pages as much as you do the homepage you would get the same result.

Yup. Also article submissions and deeplinking directories (although I would count on blogs and articles more than directories). A good internal linking structure will also play a key role in keeping your pages indexed.

They are indexed they just don't show up in SERPs.

If they are not showing up in the SERP's you need more backlinks to those pages. You need to write some articles and submit the articles to at least 50 different article directories. Most articles allow you to put out 2 links one to your home page and one to an internal page. REW also has a program where they write and submit your article to 50 sites.

Check your on-page optimization - keyword density, headers, meta tags
Digg your page
Stumble your page
Favorite your Page in Technorati
Submit your insite page to some directories
Write an article with a similar subject as your page and submit it to 10 article sites
Blog about a smilar subject and include a link to your page
Find other blogs about similar subjects and leave relevant comments linking back to your page
Write a blog at ActiveRain, get it posted to Localism and link it to your page
Create a Squidoo Lense about your page

You might also want to include a link in your forum signature, pointing to your internal page. REW forum links give you lots of juice and since you have a "nofollow" removed, it should give you that extra push.

Oh yea Jim, Russell is right. You only get credit for one link pointing towards your home page, so the other two are a waste to have them point towards your home page also. Have them point to one of your internal pages that those keywords really pertain to.
