I started my Real Estate career in 2001 and knew that I wanted to focus on the Internet to find my clients. The Greenville South Carolina area is a popular relocation destination and these are the buyers I focus on. I started with a simple site from IDXPro and had limited success. A few years later I upgraded to a site from Smart Realty Solutions and integrated an IDX search and business grew. The problem was that my organic rankings were not what I wanted and the design of the site was not search engine friendly.

In 2006 I did extensive research on all the companies that specialize in Real Estate specific web site development and focus on SEO. I did not want just another pretty site. I wanted a site that was user friendly and also search engine friendly. I wanted to get my organic rankings up so that I could phase out of using pay per click. Finally I found Real Estate Web Masters and in early 2007 we launched a templated site and I iFramed my old IDX solution. My organic rankings climbed and my business grew.

The REW real estate forums are a great source of information and learning, so by participating and digesting what other successful agents across the country were doing, I decided to take the next step. Morgan (The SEO Guy) held my hand and walked me through the development of my current custom site, www.eddykicker.com with a new custom IDX that has been outstanding. I am now virtually all organic with a tiny PPC budget. Morgan and his staff can take your ideas and input and turn it into reality. If only I had found them earlier, I know I would be that much further along.

Real Estate web sites are never “finished”. It is a journey that continues and that is another reason I plan to always stay with REW. They keep me informed of changes in the search engines and things I need to work on. It is more than just another business relationship. I truly feel it is a business partnership. They want me to be successful and I want them to continue to grow and help me with my business. There are no “silver bullets” but by working hard together I know we will both continue to be on the leading edge.

I've been toying with the idea of upgrading to a custom website design for about six months. Like many REALTORS®, I began my web presence with one of the standard template sites and was tired of dealing with all of its inadequacies. In fact, had I not found Real Estate Webmasters in August of 2005, the site would have remained a complete waste of time and nothing more than a glorified business card.

The things I learned about websites and what's necessary to be successful on the web from being a member of Morgan's forum were invaluable. But, most importantly, I got to watch first-hand what his team did for their clients, and I gained an understanding of exactly what it is that sets his company apart from other businesses that offer custom designs. Clean coding and proper formatting are just two that come to mind.

In February 2007, we moved forward with the new site and all I can say is that Morgan and his team are the best, bar none. The website design is gorgeous and functional, and the custom IDX solution rocks. Our client response is beyond our expectations and time and again we hear how the site is one of the best they have found when searching for homes in our area of Florida.

To say that I'm pleased with my decision is an understatement. The site is only two months old and already has surpassed my old site in terms of unique visitors and search engine rankings. And that's the key: being found. My old site had some nice rankings, but since the changeover to REW, the site has doubled its number of first page results. Of course, there's more to this than just the design work, and Morgan and his team help there, too. Their guidance into what works best is always spot on, and Morgan is continuously seeking better ways to help his clients improve their sites and their rankings.

So, if you're looking to gain a presence on the web and are serious about having a successful result, I highly recommend you give REW a call. With a little dedication on your part, Morgan and his team can assist in making it happen for you, too.

I had been handling my own SEO and web site development for going on nine years with a reasonable level of success. Slowly, more and more of my sales were coming from internet generated leads but as the internet grew and search engines became more sophisticated I found myself spending more and more time studying the internet and SEO. I had to make a tough decision. If I wanted to go "All The Way" and get really serious in sales I needed to hire a professional SEO company so I could devote more of my time to improving lead conversion and marketing, advertising and managing my team and my company.

I figured I had enough experience to find the best. What I did in reality was throw away a fortune on SEOs that knew little more than myself. It was depressing! Then I met Morgan Carey AKA SEOGUY, owner of Real Estate Webmasters. I realized right then that what I needed to do was cut my losses. Even though I had already invested a ton into a dud SEO firm I needed to move on! I have learned after many years in business that sometimes you just have to face reality, take the hit, brush off your bruised ego and move on. I decided to stop wasting money and time and to hire SEO-GUY. And I'm glad I did!

Folks, this is the guy all your SEO people go to to find out what they are doing wrong. And he didn't even tell me. I discovered it for myself. See for yourself on www.seochat.com, www.seo-guy.com/forum/, www.realestatewebmasters.com or any other forum where SEOs hang out. Odds are, if you have a good SEO, SEO-GUY is their consultant already!

In a little over two months, my site had risen dramatically in all the search engines and business is getting better every day as a result. To sum it up, stop wasting time, energy and money on an ineffective SEO campaign. If you have gone more than a couple of months without a dramatic improvement in your search engine rankings you are throwing your money away, period!

Like many Realtors I started with an Advanced Access website and was very happy with their product and service. Initially, I did not know anything about search engine optimization or getting business off the internet. However, I knew this could be a great lead source and decided to focus on getting a great web presence. I learned alot about SEO through trial and error and talking to people who knew more than me. My transactions off the internet started to grow. Of course, the competition from other real estate agent websites increased as well. More and more agents were getting websites and I figured that competition was only going to increase. I knew I had to stay ahead of the game and take my site to the next level.

Finding a professional, knowledgeable web designer is a daunting task. There are so many options to choose from. I decided to look for a firm that could build me a fancy website and who knew something about search engine optimization. There are plenty of web designers out there that don't know the first thing about search engines. A gorgeous website that no one can find is pretty useless. There are also plenty of firms out there who claim to know alot about SEO. I get emails from them on a daily basis. After talking on the phone with some of these website designers and promoters I realized that most of them did not know anymore about SEO than I did..

Finally, I ran across www.realestatewebmasters.com. I could see that Morgan AKA (SEO Guy) knew what he was talking about when it comes to SEO and his firm builds great websites. They have a track record of building sites that do well in the search engines and that is what it is all about. Again, pretty sites that no one can find won't make you any money.

I am very happy with the service Morgan and his team provides and the websites they have built for me. The number of unique visitors who visit my site grow every day. My leads are also increasing. I am doing well in the search engines and am very happy that I made the move to Real Estate Webmasters.

Well I can say that the site has already paid for itself and this is before even showing up on Google or having the new design/look published. Our daily sessions and conversion rates are through the roof in the past week (rankings and new look both happened around this time).

We're seeing about 100-150 sessions, or SERP referrals, per day with 2-5 leads out of this. These leads are in numerous forms with some being "hotter" than others. Our MLS search solution allows a basic search or an advanced version where they can save favorites etc but they need to provide contact info for an acct. We've been seeing a few of these "warm" users as well as 1 or 2 calls/emails from the contact form which are pretty "hot".

I expect that the numbers will quickly prove that the investment was worth every penny, without question. Morgan is also a pleasure to work with and has educated me on things that it would have taken me way to long to figure out on my own. If nothing else the site has paid for itself and clients have really found it useful for information and searches.

Like many real estate agents, my first real estate website was a free version of a Point 2 Agents product. I spent many hours fine-tuning it and after about two years of handling my own SEO and web site development my site had achieved a decent level of success.

Unfortunately, my website provider made several huge SEO mistakes, which set my site back at least 6 months and got my site dumped from Yahoo.

At about the time the site was first having troubles with Yahoo, I found the www.realestatewebmasters.com’s Forum. It seemed that whenever I had a question related to website development, SEO, the search engines, or coding problems, I was going back to the REW forum to get the answer.

In August of 2005 I took a look at where my leads and sales were coming from amd realized that a large portion was from internet-generated leads. However, I found myself spending more and more time studying the internet, SEO, and trying to figure out fixes to my existing site's limitations, and not actually working my web site's Leads! After sitting down and adding up all my expenses (including Lost Time) that I had incurred on the “Free Site”, I realized that I could have bought several Custom websites over the last two years!

Therefore, I finally decided to get a custom website. It was time to take my business and my site to the next level - I needed to hire a professional SEO company.

I finally realized that once I took the majority of the SEO responsibilities off my plate, I could devote more of my time to doing what actually pays the bills: Selling Real Estate. So, I interviewed several Custom Website developers and realized the single best resource that I had used over the last two years was the RealEstateWebmasters.com forum.

I decided to stop wasting time and Money. I decided to hire the pros- RealEstateWebmasters.com. I am so glad I did!

To sum it up, stop wasting time, energy and money on an ineffective SEO campaign or your FSBO attitude on building Your Own Real Estate Site. Take a hard look at the amount of money you are dumping into your existing websites and if you have gone more than a couple of months without a dramatic improvement in your search engine rankings, you are throwing your money away, unless your site is already Ranked #1 ;-)
