REW Summit Schedule & Class Information
There will be two classes, break-out sessions and plenty of networking opportunities on both days of the conference. Learn techniques from REW staff and insiders and get together with experienced REW customers to share bright ideas and collaborate on new projects that will help generate more leads from the web.
Day 1 - July 30th
8:30 AM - 9:30 AM - Breakfast / meet and greet. Our convention chefs put on a great spread - join the REW staff, presenters and other attendees for breakfast and get to know some of the folks that you will spend the next two days with. Breakfast service provided courtesy of the REW Summit.
9:45 AM - 11:15 AM - Class 1 (IDX data - tapping your resource)
CEO & Director of Technology Morgan Carey discusses the untapped resource (and major competitive advantage) REW IDX customers have available to them. Learn how to look at this data through an SEO and Internet marketer's eyes and leverage it to YOUR full advantage.
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM - Networking session
You just learned how to use data to your advantage - it's time to get together with other REW folks and discuss specific implementation and strategy.
12:30 PM - 2:00 PM - Lunch Break
Again provided by the chefs of the REW Conference - come eat and be merry, make some connections and re-energize yourself for the afternoon. Lunch service provided courtesy of the REW Summit.
2:15 PM - 3:45 PM Class 2 (Building true authority) Eric Blackwell
10 authority building / writing tips that help build client and peer relationships (both online and off) as well as increase the SEO value of your web properties.
3:45 PM - 5:00 PM Networking
The convention center will be available until 5PM for our guests to discuss the classes of the day, make plans for more personal networking sessions over dinner and of course get loosened up for the REW evening event.
8:00PM - Midnight (Tentative event - karaoke @ Foundry pub)
We are hoping us nerdy REW types aren't the only one tipsy enough to grab a mic.

2:15 PM - 3:45 PM Class 4 (Search engine optimization intense)
1.5 hours of getting as far as we can get in that time - starting with the basics SEO 101 keyword research, titles, meta data, filenames, content architecture, sitemapping - ending with discussion on advaned SEO techniques, inlcuding link building / baiting.
3:45 PM - 5:00 PM Networking
The convention center will be available until 5PM for our guests to discuss the classes of the day, make plans for more personal networking sessions over dinner and of course discuss what you are going to do while staying in beautiful Nanaimo for the weekend.
