Balmer is also probably pretty pissed that Yang made him, and other shareholders, lose millions. They had a good deal with MSN and left it on the table. Since, I've heard of two layoffs - just seems like a bad decision - an ego decision - but what do I know?

Wow I just looked up Yahoo. They only had 15,000 employees. A 10% reduction in one day is pretty severe.

You are correct about that...it did happen a few months ago and I posted about it. Thoughts and prayers for those affected. Yang needs to be yanked. He could have accepted Microsoft's offer...but... Arrogance can be costly IMO. Eric
