How sensitive are the search engines to case, punctuation, wording, ect...

I think every detail is important to them, but more important than puntuaction is the word content...maybe.

In what manner do you mean? Using punctuation in a search query definitely yields different result than the same query without the punctuation (in most cases).

Yes in a search query is sensitive, sorry I was talking about optimization...

I never thought about case or punctuation affecting the search engines. I would think wording has a huge affect.
