My wife and I both use Tom Ferry's organization for coaching. Our coach is Lorie Marks and she is a wealth of knowledge. We just got back from Palm Desert for their success summit 2007 seminar and it was excellent. Even if you do not get individual coaching I would recommend you attend a seminar. I would have to say the focus of the one we just attended was based on discipline and focus. - we all need a reality check at times...

They also highlighted on growing your business and really shed light on the fact that attitude and attracting business go hand and hand.

Now one of the best things they did do this summit was bring in Jennifer (an outside marketing consultant) who really made me evaluate my marketing focus and showed a true difference between advertising and marketing. That was alone worth the trip out there.

Hired? I thought that they bought his company. The system is out-of-date compared to other CRM systems.

Prudential has praised the system for it's ease of use and simple format that helps their agents develop and sustain their web presence.

Prudential praises it as every agent must pay for it..most of their agents do not praise it! It is mandatory their agents buy it whether they want it or not. The website is basically a business card that promotes Pru and the leads go to an internal "e-team". If you are part of the team, you have the privilege of paying a 35% referral fee. It has nothing to do about sustaining web presence as the agents I know that have it, have no web presence, hence nothing to sustain.

Not sure I would want my credentials to be about the "IRIS" system. It would be worthless to any posting on this forum or to anyone who has rudimentary knowledge about lead generation.

Sorry you got hooked with, Frankie. You know Pru managment highly endores Tom, hence how you probably got hooked up in the program. At least you don't have to worry about "IRIS" and you can spend your money more wisely on your own website!

PRU did do some very heavy endorsements with this program, which did get me to the conference, but it was my own fault for signing up before doing all of my own due diligence. Hopefully this post will educate others to beware and do as I did.

As far as "IRIS" goes, I don't know if I want to touch the topic here on this post, you may find out some truths that you really wouldn't want to hear right now, also not to mention what happens with RELO off of your own sites. I think south OC RE offices are pretty corrupt and monopolized, I wasn't aware of how much until I did about 6 months worth of my own research. You would be amazed at how much you are giving away, especially if you work out of a home office, NO matter what incentives they try to bribe you with, although I think this is more for another post or PM.

Anyways back to SSI I did just receive an email this morning stating that Mike was my new coach, I guess I am confused on the interviewing process with Tom Ferry's organization as I haven't had the opportunity to interview a single person yet. Brian if you could shed some light on that for me, that would be great.

I have a question - seeing as this is being opened on REW, is it possible for real estate webmasters (Non realtors, such as assistance or realtors webmasters) to participate in this service, or is it strictly realtors?

Fantastic question, and yes, anyone who wants to learn these techniques can be on these calls. I will say that some of the concepts introduced during the course may not apply, or the assistants or webmasters may have no control over. For example, offline marketing may not be under the influence the webmaster and it will be covered extensively on the calls. As a webmaster you'll probably want to learn the techniques but it may seem unapplicable at times.

Also, we do have a specific program that we suggest for assistants. We call it our Business Management program. In that program we will be covering all tasks that an assistant or an agent should be doing to manage their business. Topics include Database Management, Transaction Coordination, Data Entry and so on. It too is a conference call program where we have one of our coaches running 4 calls a month.
