I am real estate investor at heart, turned full service brokerage, and now I also am managing rental properties for out of state investors. We are adding 3-5 homes per month to what we are managing and should have at least 100 single family homes under management by the end of the year
My Question: I am looking for a good website implementation for rental advertising. I can do the SEO type stuff, I just want something that can be somewhat plug and play for homes for rent that may or may not be on the MLS. Anyone have any ideas? I guess it would be somewhat like a solution for regular real estate, so this may be a duplicate or question that don't need asked ![]() The reason I am even looking for this is the online rental advertising is getting very expensive. Rentalhouses.com has been a great place to advertise, I can list unlimited homes and apartments for about $200/month. They just got bought out by a larger company, starting in 2008, I will be charged between $49-$69 per listing!! That means if I have 20 or so units for rent, I am paying almost 1k a month in advertising these properties. That is ridiculous. So I thought I would just create a good website for just rental homes in the Indianapolis area. Thoughts or ideas?

Craig,
I enjoyed reading you comment about RentalHouses.com. Sounds like they are going honor a 1 year contact with you for unlimited pricing? I write about the rental ad industry on my blog if anyone is interested at www.rentvine.com/blog/ Thanks, Dave Dugdale |

You should check out OR. It's free and it has a lot of things on it. With 3-5 listings/month you can manually add them every month. You can work on which fields to display, what order, fields you want to use on the searchpage.
