Hey guys,
Just made a KICK ASS upgrade to the directory that will really help you capture even more search engine traffic using the authority of REW

What's up you ask? We created the ability for you guys to add neighborhoods and list yourself in those neighborhoods just like you are listed in the cities.

How much does it cost? Nothing
Do I have to provide extra backlinks? Nope, you already link to REW if you are in the directory.
How much are the featured spots if I want em? I figure I will charge a dollar per month or something, would have to bill it yearly as I can't even bill a dollar on our credit card processing. So would be like $12 a year per neighborhood.

So what do I have to do, how do I get listed?

It's simple, just log into your REW Blog and look to the left hand side, you will see "Add Directory Listing" Click that link.

You will be confronted with the normal directory form to fill out, you know, name, phone etc the necessary data for your listing and the usually choose your state and then your city dropdown - HERE IS WHERE IT GETS COOL!

Right under the city after you choose it another dropdown will appear, this drop down will typically be empty right now because we don't have a stock database of neighborhoods. Luckily we created a cool little widget just click the "Add New" and the dropdown will turn into a text field which you can then enter the neighborhood you want to have a listing for. VERY IMPORTANT - be sure to spell the neighborhood correctly as you can't rank for a keyword phrase if it ain't splledded correcllly.

All I ask is that you put some effort into your description (For your sake, and the integrity of the directory) so please don't copy paste your typical link exchange description "Serving area x, y, z, visit my site" Instead provide some real content pertaining to your ability to service that market, why you should be chosen if someone is looking to buy or sell there, sell yourself and make it unique. (No HTML in description field please) - the better job you do with your content for your listing, the more likely someone will contact you if they encounter you on the web from your listing.

Incidentally, you can submit as many neighborhoods for free as you like, the only caveat is that your description is unique and relevant for each one you submit. Not a bad deal for 5 minutes work

I already submitted my directory listing, but want to edit it to go back and incorporate your new feature. How do I do that?

This is an awesome feature. Basically we get to use REW to rank for neighborhoods in our cities.

Couldn't find this widget. Is is because I'm already in the directory? Also, the image I uploaded is distorted. Can I resubmit that? Lastly, you mention "free" and $12.00 in third paragraph. Not sure what you mean there. Thanx.

When you put in your city - another box will appear under it and you just click on "add new" out beside it and put in your area.

I added one but how do I choose featured listing? And where would it be shown?

Hi, I guess I've slept through some action... What do you mean by:

By the way - $12 per year comes close enough to FREE - if you guys cannot afford it what are you doing in real estate?
