Lately - like in the past few days - I've made a couple changes to my website: I removed tables in favor of CSS and also optmized my image names for the Universal Search Algorithm. Today, I noticed my page shot up to #1 on Yahoo for pretty much all my major keywords. I'd been hovering at 20-50 for months on Yahoo so in some cases, this was a 50+ improvement. Did anyone notice a big change in the Yahoo SERPS today or was it just my site that gained some major rankings? I'm trying to narrow it down to see if these changes helped my rankings or if it was just cooincidence.

I just hit #10 on yahoo for "atlanta real estate" I will be very interested to compare notes from when I was #10 for the same term on google...I'm also #1 and #4 for "atlanta luxury real estate" so it looks like I will finally be able to do a good comparison for myself and see - that is - if I stay there in Y.

I've just read a couple reports of others having pretty large changes (up and down) on Yahoo in the last 24hrs so maybe there is some shaking going on.

Yea, I noticed a couple of my other sites got big boosts today. Was trying to narrow it down to a design change but looks like the SERPS were being updated and that's the main cause.

I haven't noticed much of a change yet. Have you looked to see if they found a bunch of backlinks lately? That seems more likely than just optimized image changes... but that would be great if it was that easy for all of us!

I was slammed by yahoo... I'd sure like to know what you did in more detail. What is the Universal Search Algorithm? I'm not familiar with this

i am, it happened after i removed all my recpical links. I am not sure if that anything to do with it
