Top Producer isn't it. My wife bought 6i. What a POS. Very buggy and requires a great deal of data entry. Once the information is in there, you can do some automated emailing, etc. BUT if you buy any of the other add ons (which some of them you need) and then patch it, and you have a slightly older edition like we do, you then need to buy the updated add on ( of course you only pay for shipping $25, the update is free). Version 7 is online and that I haven't used. But if its just a patched up web based version of 6i, save your money.

I have used Act in the past but I need a Web based system for remote access! Does anyone know if Act has a Web Based solution?

The last time I was at Comdex I talked to their rep. ACT does have a real estate plugin, but I don't know if it has web based utilities for it. They do have several email add ons, listed here http://www.act.com/products/solutions/?campaign=h_cu3 Perhaps one of them may be a solution (of sorts).

Does anyone use "ACT"? It might just do the job for contact management and follow up for you all.. I dont think it has drip email but it might in newer versions.

I have used ACT in the past and at one time it was the Best! However, that was about 3 years ago. Anyone have current knowledge of the capabilities of ACT?

I tried using an older version of it within the last year and it was way to much of a learning curve for the amount of time I had. I know a few other very busy top agents in different areas of CA that use it and say it saves them time and effort!
I found it easiest to just create folders in my outlook express and keep my database that way.... granted it doesn't have drip email or other fancy reminders, it works perfect for what I need. Alan, Did the ACT from a few years ago have a way to transfer all your data or did you have to do it manually to a new program? (and off subject - for raining so hard last night - Today is BEAUTIFUL here in SD! gong to the beach see ya! )
