I'm a real estate agent in France and we're currently looking for real estate software with the following functions:
-database of properties (own listings and mls listings)
--database of prospects, with function to match prospects with properties
-client contact (monthly newsletters, selection of properties to prospects)
-Listings (save every changes made to or action relating to a listing, to show owner that we're working on his listing).
-Automatically send all properties I have to real estate websites (my website, primelocation.com, etc)

This is probably standard stuff. We're working manually, without a system like this now and we realise that life could be a lot easier/more efficient with some kind of software. We've had French companies show us software like what I'm describing. I just wanted to know if there are alternatives.

Is there any open source software out there?

I would look at http:// nls.point2.com. We have a website with them and has all the features your talking about. It's $49.00 a month or you can get a downgraded version for free. I'm not sure if they are global though.
