Has anyone used Propeller? I just checked out it has a PR of 7 and a great site to get a good backlink for your site. I was wondering if anyone has used it. I just got ready to submit a "Story" and it asks for the Story Summary, I was wondering if this where you submit your story is this just the true summary part? Because it says no html but I noticed a lot of stories have hyperlinks pointing towards different sites in their story. Can anyone shed some light?

Propeller (netscape) is great social site (my favourite).

The "Story" is the summary, make sure you have the url to the exact page that you wish to publish.

Use the tags for the phrases that you wish to promote.

How long does it take for your "Story" to show up? How do you search for your story? Can you put live links in the summary even though it says not to? I notice a lot of other people have done it

It shows immediately.

Search the chennel or the tags that you put.

I wouldn't recommend abusing their system even though others do. Don't worry, it is automatically will show your url (at least the top level domain) next to your user name right under the title of the story.

Yeah Propeller is a great site IMO -

In the Story Summary box you write a summary of your article/story. It's used as the description that shows up under the link to your article. The summary will get people to read your article (visit your site) or make them pass it up.

The actual link to your article is a direct link to the website where the article/story is published.

I've never seen anyone put a live link in the summary - it's located in the bottom right of the listing - it looks like a link to your homepage but it's a deep link to the article. I would imagine that the editor strips html out so links wouldn't be allowed but I've never tried.

I've also never checked on how long it takes to show up but I would imagine it's like most sites and shows up immediately. It is a little difficult to search propeller but there's a light blue box mid-right sidebar that allows you to narrow to a subject; the box is labeled Channels

So let me get this straight you write your "Story" somewhere else like on your blog and then have the story link to your blog on your website. But there is no clear way of searching for the story you just posted. You can click on the channel, but thats it, it really doesn't narrow it down much more than that. In fact my tags that I put in didn't even show up.

I just did a story and for the life of me I can't figure out where the story is? I looked for the tags I wrote and they are not showing up, when I go to the Real Estate Category I don't see the story anywhere. Is there any search feature where you can put in the title of the story and it will come up?

Alright nevermind I found the story under "New Stories" but let me know if there is a way to search your "Story" a few weeks later to see what type of votes or reviews it got. Right now I can search it because it's new, but later how do you find your story?
