For those of you who have not tried propeller, you are missing out. I just signed up and wrote my first story a couple days ago and have noticed an increase in traffic to my blog. The way propeller works is you go in and just tell a little brief summary about the story you are going to lead people to. You then submit a link to where the story is(usually your blog) and then propeller directs all the traffic to your site. Not to mention Propeller has a PR of 7. Great site, very impressed.

I admit, I haven't done much with the social bookmarking sites. I've basically played around with Digg and Stumbleupon and Delicious but never put much stock in them. Then a couple days ago I stumbled a page of mine and somehow over the next hour, the site referred about 140 visitors to my site. Now, I'm making sure to go and submit all that I can to the various sites. I've heard a couple others rave about Propeller so I'm giving it a shot...

A little here, a little there, it all adds up. You would be surprised how some of these pages just pop up. Spread your name around and good things happen. The internet is no different than the real world. The more sites you network on, it's just like the more people you talk to in the real world. You hand your card out to 100 people maybe 1 person calls you one day. Or maybe nobody ever calls you, but like everything in life IT'S A NUMBERS GAME.

Hi Mark, thanks for the lead in, I'll check it out. I noticed it is an AOL company. I am understanding they trying to find their way with niche sites. We may soon see the microhoo deal done, but there are other things out there. I have been contacted twice by an image search company, redzebra, which I guess in in beta and is an image search engine according to them. Nice article.

propeller is really great but the pr of 7 may be a bit misleading. That is say you go to propeller and submit a story, you will get a link. The link will not get the pr 7 juice but something more like a pr 3 or pr4.
Either way, i do agree with you that propeller is a really cool place to post your stories/articles to and traffic will get a boost. In addition, the customer service there is really great.

Apparently it's now a PR8 site and that obivously is a sign of authority.I've just added a story just to see what the difference would be.

From what i could see, articles move down the line as new articles get posted. The cached pages don't match the current pages so you will not get cached twice with the same url.

It also looks like when you get to the bottom of page 15 you go away?

Am I seeing this correctly?

GreggRio, Just though I might shed some light on RedZebra. I made the mistake of signing up and there traffic is worthless. Average visitor from them stays on my main page less than 1 second and have a 0% conversion. Needless to say I will not renew or ever recommend them to anyone. In my opinion the search engine is a marketing scam.
