I tried bookmarking in digg.com and alas! the link appeared on google. very effective!

These types of links are very useful. I would recommend digg, stumpleupon, reddit and delicious as a good place to start. If one of the pages you submit gets popular.. the potential traffic is much greater than a lot of other methods.

The only drawback is that some of them, lets say digg for example is notorious for burning up server resources with not completely targetted clientele. they hit the page, scan the content and leave in 30 seconds later.. no form data, no ad clicks.. nothing. This is normal.. thats your 'internet news' crowd. However, there will always be a few of those that stick, and you get seo benefits too. Considering the value of leads right now, I doubt many webmasters are crying when digg blows up their hit counter.
