It's good that you have removed "nofollow", but my concern is that there must be a limit of links in the signature like not more than 2 and 3 lines. Am I right? That will be very helpful getting links from this forum.

Sorry to drag up an old topic, but I can't help it.

I realize I'm preaching to the choir for most of you, but for those who are trying to post solely for the purpose of getting "nofollow" removed - I'd say your time is better spent elsewhere (and sometimes, I have to remind myself the same thing.)

• Let's assume PR is logarithmic - meaning it takes 10 PR0 links to roughly equal one PR1 link, and 10 PR1s to equal a PR2.

• Assuming 98% of forum posts are a PR0 (and that's only once cached), that means that by the time you get to 300 posts to get nofollow removed, you'll really only have about the equivalent of 3 PR2 links.

• For example: 300 PR0 links is about the equivalent of 30 PR 1 links, or 3 PR2 links.

I don't know about you, but I'd just assume write a quick article & get someone with at least a PR3 site to put that article on their site in trade for an "author credit" link vs spending dozens of hours posting to forums solely for the purpose of getting a few links.

On the other side -- Reading, learning & participating for the purpose of learning how to better optimize your business? That's a different story. In that case - getting the signature links is just gravy.

I'll admit, when I first joined here it was the fact you could use a signature. That same day I spent about 9 hours going through the forum, and I learned an incredible amount of great information. The information I learned took me from page 3 to page 1 for my best keyword, and now I am getting more leads. This forum is amazing, and the people who share their secrets are awesome.

Signature links? Meh! Information? Awesome.

I have to agree. This forum is one of the best forum for real estate information and trust me I've done my research The best thing about this forum is the fact that it has information about every aspect of Real Estate and even being a real estate Webmaster like many of us here are.

No, the best part is that the blow hards, spammers, and bullys get banned and effectively filters out garbage leaving nothing but thoughtful, serious, and professional help and observations.

By the way, I just saw Morgan has only been on the forum 6 months longer than me. I have lots of posting to do to catch up! But like you guys have observed, it isn't the sig links, it is the knowledge and relationships that are the benefit here.
