(SAR in particular) If the ethic committee cleared him, then why did Board staff make the decision to hire the attorney and continue the pursuit via ICANN even after being, apparently, cleared on any ethics violations. Were there any complaints of bad faith use of the domain name?

Excellent point. I am glad you brought that up. Unfortunately, I cannot discuss any ethics hearing that I a may or may not have had.

The Sarasota Association of Realtors does not even provide the "Sarasota MLS" anymore. Several months ago, all of the Sarasota MLS data was consolidated into the Mid Florida MLS. This makes the decision to go after thesarasotamls.com even more curious.

Not sure if this was brought up before but cant a "NON MLS MEMBER" purchase Marc's old site and then have "someone" pay them a monthly fee to buy a certain "area" oh I dunno.. say all areas that Marc covers and when someone clicks on a listing this "someone's" contact info pops up.

Maybe REW can be the site owner and "someone" can maybe be lucky enough to be the 1st one to "buy areas" and receive all business/leads from the site...

Just a thought...

Marc, I too came to REW because of your site. My mom was with ReMax in California and referred me to your site after I told her I was creating our sites. It's so unfortunate that it had to come to this and I really hope you win the battle. It really does make you question the SAR's objective. Sounds to me like envious associates.
