Copywriting for the web is very important. It’s one thing to write for the search engines and another thing entirely to write for your targeted visitors and prospects. A good balance is always needed.

I have seen too many people try to optimize their website copy for too many keywords rather than for a few that add quality and value to the search engines and for their visitors. My strategy has always been to rank for at least two sets of phrases and then moving on to the next.
