I haven't received any Google alerts for my keywords from my REW blog for the past few days. Is anyone else experiencing this or know what's going on? I used to get a Google alert about my latest blog post somewhere between 3-24 hrs after posting.

It really depends on what your keywords are - I just checked and they were cached today, and your smiling face is in the cache - so one would assume if one of your keywords was "Sharon Roark" you would have gotten an update.

Both -- I have my blog from "here" pulled to my site (I ended up using the blog "here" instead of one purchased with my site because Google liked the REW blogs so much.)

Just because you don't get a google alert, doesn't mean the post hasn't been indexed. Sometimes I'll check my keywords in google alerts and there will be posts there I never got a notice on. Seems like it is a feature meant to let you know when someone is "talking" about something more than to always let you know when something goes into the index.

Until the past few days, I received an alert every my blog post was indexed (because I always include one of two sets of keywords)....I understand it's possible for them to be indexed without an alert being issued, but something must be up with the alert system for it to just stop issuing them to me for keywords I'm putting in my blog.

Also, the alerts don't always pick up when you expect them. I experience this periodically when I expect my alerts to show the post in the AM but it doesn't show until later or next day.

Just curious why it matters if you get a G alert or not?
I look for new lead alerts....!

Drew you're right, some of us (well, me anyway) focus on things that aren't really important - I like the alerts to see if someone else is talking about me - good chance if my name comes up people are talking about ME and I also like to see what other people are posting about in my area. I don't really use them to see if something get's indexed or not - I pretty much assume it will be - for my REW blogs I'm typically checking the next day to see where it hits on G - not if it was indexed.
