@ Del Mar - not that much of a trek at all, quick flight north to either Seattle or Vancouver and then a short hop over to Vancouver Island.

If you go the Seattle route you can catch a connection to Victoria, which is on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. About a one and a half hour drive up to Nanaimo with some very nice views of the Georgia Straight.

Seriously... you would be clearing customs in Victoria which means that the one-way journey shouldn't take more than 5 to 6 hours from airport to airport.

@ Brian MC - agreed... meeting some of the "bigwigs" is worth the trip alone, especially considering how open everyone was to discussing the business (and REW technology) last year. I am looking forward to more of the same this year -- it will be great to hear about what is working for our clients/members.

I agree Dennis, and was fortunate enough to spend some time with Dave in the office this spring. Great guy and a lot of great ideas to compliment his wealth of experience.

Relationship building is the meat of the conference. All of the other really valuable stuff is just icing on the cake.
