Many companies have spent many thousands of dollars studying this and that is what keeps coming up. People will connect with the photo, people will remember the photo and people are less likely to throw out a business card if it contains a photo.

How many times do you go through business cards that you have collected and wonder 'who the heck is this person?'. I bet if there was a photo you would remember the person.

That is the best case I've heard yet for keeping the photo on the card. Much as I hate that reality (it feels oh so cheesy), it makes total sense.

I design my cards in AI and send them over to a local printer. I'm sure I pay more than I could had I ordered online but the difference in price isn't enough to warrant the time shopping for the "lowest-lowest" price if you know what I mean.
