They were originally, but I am no longer at that office, but they did steal it when I was there...It has been a long time ignoring since I didnt really care but now It just pisses me off...

It's your intellectual property, you are obligated to protect it once you know about it, otherwise you loose the right (through dilution) to call it yours.

I must say that this doesn't surprise me. I'm also in Tampa and since getting back in the biz, (~3 months) I have researched and analyzed the local competition. KW has quite a few agents consistently doing their homework online. This includes you of course. Was this at KW?

Fortunately for you, what sets you apart is your personality and the format in which you deliver your message. Content is in fact king, however you have the RMASSE10 personality stamp embedded within your web pages. Not many agents can duplicate the tone in which you consistently deliver your message online.

Yes I know what you mean..I have been working on this for some time now and many dont get it...yes it was at KW, several agents decided to start stealing content, graphics etc from me. I taught tech classes every thursday and I guess they assumed I was a good target to steal from...instead of just sitting down and creating compeling, unique content.

They will never get it and therefore, since I know who they are, will never give them the time of day for anything...

If it were in my office, I think a punch in the back of the head is totally acceptable. Otherwise, a cease and desist will probably work, too. I realize that we should sound professional on this forum, but you would think other agents would try to be professional!

If it were me I would:

• Tell the broker to have them cease and desist with a time line for action
• Send a letter to cease and desist with a time line for action
• Speak with them directly and tell them to cease and desist with a time line for action - explaining copyright laws to them since they obviously aren't aware of the laws.

If they failed to remove the content I would call them on it in an office meeting and send out an office memo to everyone.
