AR posts seem to be indexed quickly and show up in a lot of long tail kw's. But I'm sure it's a matter of time before they're just seen as a bunch of spam and duplicate content.

Yeah but purple monkey pink dinosaur is not hard to rank for - there have been many tests made regarding AR vs other platforms in terms of speed and effectiveness of ranking, and AR does not have any special advantage in fact most times the test showed better (and longer term) rankings from other platforms (multi user blogs, squidoo in some cases, REW Blogs for sure etc)
And most of the other places aren't going to sell you out (I forgot to mention the fact that AR also provided ALL of our private information to move inc (owners of Realtor.com) when they were trying to sell to them - I don't remember giving them permission to do that - do you?

I like AR because it seems to be a great training ground for newbies, and the point system is a great way of training agents how to effectively blog. (ie: even if you're only in it for the points, you're actually practicing (somewhat) how to be effective at blogging - because we all know that it ain't just about throwing up content & waiting for people to come.)
However, I find that most people start with AR "take the training wheels off" once they realize that all of their content is not nearly as effective as if on their own domain.

I noticed AR started charging agents monthly fees if you wanted your blog distributed to the general public rather than AR members only. Is all I can say is don't do it. There are many better ways to accomplish this without paying for it.
